After its closure in 2016, Korean food truck LaLa’s kitchen held a ribbon cut and soft opening on September 7th, which then fully reopened on September 8th. The Emory, an apartment complex with 305 units at the address Carl Stern Dr. 251, Hutto, is under construction. The first building is expected to be completed and ready to move into on December 16. Convenience store and gas station chain based in Tulsa QuikTrip gets a new location at 5600 Chandler Rd. in Hutt. Construction of the new store is slated to begin at the end of the year and be completed in the fall of 2022, according to QuikTrip representative Robert Costello. Costello said the Chandler Road location was chosen because of its proximity to the SH 130 and the expected growth in the area. www.quiktrip.com
