AUSTIN CULTURE CARD – Randalls is closing another grocery store in Austin but is looking for locations to potentially open new locations in the area.
In a statement emailed, Randalls said the grocery store at 1500 W. 35th St. in Central Austin will be closed until November 6th.
“We remain committed to the Austin market and invite customers to shop in the remaining Randalls stores, some of which have recently been remodeled. No other locations are affected by Randalls, ”the statement said.
Randalls closed its Southwest Austin store on West William Cannon Drive and the South MoPac Expressway in early September. The company said the store was “below average”.
