Lewis Investments Assists with Esperanza Community Improvements, Installs Utility Infrastructure to Provide Solutions to People Experiencing Homelessness

ROUND ROCK, Texas, November 1, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Real estate investment and development company Lewis Investments is installing the utility infrastructure for the Esperanza community – an approximately 150 person sanctioned warehouse in Austin, Texas. Dedicated to solution based alternatives to help Austins Lewis Investments has worked closely with The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) and donated their services to the much-anticipated improvements to the camp for the homeless community.

With the help of companies like Lewis Investments, the Esperanza Community aims to become a transformative protection community with 200 unaffiliated protection units strategically located in neighborhoods with outdoor communal kitchens, sanitary facilities and common areas.
The Esperanza community is led by TOOF, who works closely with camp residents and honors residents’ vision for the future of the community. TOOF also acts as the camp’s service coordinator, working closely with the service provider community to provide all the resources necessary to adequately support the residents of the Esperanza community.
TOOF hopes to increase $ 5.4 million for the improvements and is currently accepting donations of all kinds in order to accomplish their “most ambitious mission yet”. The Lewis Investments contractor team, along with TXDOT, expects to complete the installation by the end of 2021.
