For those looking for a luxury vacation home or a pied-à-terre, take note: the first single Four Seasons residential property in Texas is in the works.
Lake Austin four season private residences is built on a secluded hill above a 90 degree curve of the lake on site near the famous Pennybacker Bridge. The 145 acre community will feature 179 luxury residences with views of Lake Austin from 280 to 380 feet above the water.
It will only be the fifth independent Four Seasons hotel in the world.
Prices for the residences start at $ 4 million. So far 63 units are reserved. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2023 and be completed in 2025.
“Coupled with legendary five-star service and amenities, the community offers a rare combination of hill views, private boat docks on Lake Austin, privacy and security,” said Jonathan Coon, CEO of Austin Capital Partners, in one News from November 15 publication.
Austin Capital Partners is developing the property together with Toronto-based Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Houston real estate giant Hines.
The site comprises 90 hectares of nature reserve and parkland.
“A responsible approach to the environment to preserve and protect this iconic place was of central importance to our vision for this project,” says Coon. “Our plan – supported by our neighbors and approved by the city – provides secure and accessible parking for the lookout point and cliff. Not only are we donating half of our lake property to the city, but we’re also continuing to invest in responsible green space development – creating the first new park on Lake Austin in decades. “
Housing options range from 1,900-square-foot pied-à-terre to four-bedroom residences with gardens and pools to large penthouses with 3,000-square-foot terraces and 40-foot pools.
