Allegiant Airlines will begin non-stop flights from Palm Beach International Airport to Austin, Texas, in late November, the airline announced on Tuesday.
The Las Vegas-based airline, which is focused on low-cost flights and the ninth largest commercial airline in the United States, is adding PBIA as part of its 22-route expansion.

The airline is offering one-way fares starting at US $ 49 on the new routes. Flights to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will begin on November 19, 2021.
Allegiant announced in June that PBIA will begin operating nonstop flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota, beginning October 7. PBIA’s route to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport will be seasonal and run twice a week.

Other new nonstop routes from Florida announced on Tuesday include:
• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Harrisburg (Penn.) International Airport starting December 15, 2021 with prices starting at $ 59.
• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Peoria (fig.) International Airport starting December 15, 2021 with prices starting at $ 59.
• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Sioux Falls (SD) Regional Airport starting December 15, 2021 with one-way fares starting at $ 59.
• Sarasota Bradenton International airport to East Iowa Airport (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), starting November 19, 2021 with one-way tariffs starting at $ 49.
• Sarasota Bradenton International airport to Tulsa (Okla.) International Airport starting December 15, 2021 with one-way fares starting at $ 49.
Drew Wells, senior vice president of Revenue and Network Planning at Allegiant, said travelers are enjoying nonstop flights without the hassle of stops or connections more than ever. “They also like the convenient access via the smaller airports that Allegiant serves in communities that traditionally do not have commercial air travel,” he said in a press release.
