Pflugerville, Travis County – A Bastrop real estate developer has reported a project with a government regulator for a restaurant in an upcoming shopping mall.

Cornerstone at Kelly Lane LLC registers his project, Willie’s Grill & Ice House into town with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on November 19th.

The 1.88 acre (81,766 square feet) lot is vacant and is located in the eastern part of town.

According to Ironwood Properties website, Cornerstone on Kelly Lane is a 60 acre mixed use development that is anchored by Cost co, CVS and a Austin Regional Hospital.

The scope of work includes the construction of a 6,117 square meter restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas for games as well as an illuminated parking lot with main road access and landscape irrigation.

The estimated cost of the project was given as $ 2.8 million.

Josh Hill, Vice President of Houston based Willie’s restaurants, will lead the development of Willies Grill & Icehouse, which serves southern Cajun and Tex-Mex food along with burgers.

Construction of the restaurant is scheduled to begin on March 18, 2022 and be completed by July 10 of the same year.

Parking garage construction & architecture, from Lewisville, are on board the project.
