Austin, Texas – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Hyliion Holdings Corp. (NYSE: HYLN) (“Hyliion”), a leading provider of electrified propulsion solutions for Class 8 tractor units, today announced the start of its nationwide Hypertruck ERX Marketing Roadshow, which will feature visits with multiple members of the Hypertruck Innovation Council. The roadshow gives Hyliion the opportunity to showcase the pre-production demo unit of the Hypertruck ERX, its next-generation electric powertrain charged by an on-board natural gas generator that enables long-distance transportation, quick refueling, and enables fleets to get on the grid -negative CO2- Emissions. The first stop on the tour is Wegmans Food Markets (“Wegmans”) headquarters in Rochester, NY, on November 10th and 11th, 2021.
One of Hyliion’s recently completed Hypertruck ERX demonstration units will travel to the Wegmans facility for a two-day event with on-road demonstrations and ridesharing. Hyliion representatives will provide in-depth information on the solution’s features and benefits, including its potential to support fleet decarbonization goals and reduce total cost of ownership.

The regional supermarket chain is already successful with the Hyliion products: In the last two years, several of the trucks in operation have been retrofitted with the Hyliion hybrid solution.

After the Wegmans stop, Hyliion will host similar ridesharing events with other Hypertruck Innovation Council members at its Austin, TX headquarters in December and will continue to collect feedback that will feed into future iterations of the Hypertruck ERX demo units. Hyliion is currently developing additional demonstration units that will be added after the marketing roadshow is complete to allow the company to offer more product demonstrations for more fleets.
