<p>Anthology Senior Living pioneered Anthology of Austin, a 130-unit senior living community in Austin, Texas. The developer hired Cadence McShane Construction Co. to build the 128,000 square foot facility, the design of which is being led by OZ Architecture. The project is scheduled to go online in early 2023.</p>
<p>The developer acquired the land for the project in July 2020, according to Travis County’s records. In late August, Anthology Senior Living secured a four-year home loan for $ 34.7 million from the First National Bank of Omaha.</p>
<p>The five story property is set on over 2 acres at 10001 Stonelake Blvd. Anthology of Austin will include 106 assisted living units, while 24 will be memory maintenance units, available in studio, one and two bedroom configurations.</p>
<h2>Equipment, location</h2>
<p>Planned amenities include a fitness center, discovery room, theater, clubhouse, salon, and barber shop, plus several restaurants, and a bar and bistro that open onto a rooftop terrace. The community will also have a landscaped courtyard that will use the site’s ancient trees and other native species.</p>
<p>Adjacent to the University of Texas at Austin’s Office of Sponsored Projects, the project is within walking distance of several shopping and dining options. The Anthology of Austin is 3 miles from Q2 Stadium, approximately 10 miles north of downtown.</p>
<p>The development is the third Anthology Senior Living project built by Cadence McShane Construction Co. Elsewhere in the state, a partnership with Ryan Cos., Grand Living Management and Bow River Capital began building a luxury senior housing project with 186 units. Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes in League City, Texas, is expected to ship in the spring of 2023.</p>
