- US Representative Lloyd Doggett is looking for a run in the new convention district 37 in Austin. The district, which is reportedly drawn in favor of the Democrats, is one of two created based on the latest census data. (KVUE.com)
- A recent report illustrated Austinthe housing shortage. Homes are selling at record speed while the city’s supply cannot keep up with demand. (Austin patch)
- State and municipality early voting started on Monday. Stand on the ballot two city-wide proposals, one that aims at the Austin Police budget and the other in swapping parkland. There are also eight statewide props, including a ban on accepting restrictions on religious services. (newsradioklbj.com)
- Members of Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce consider their options to meet the growing traffic and congestion of the city. You are considering the “cap and stitch”. Overhaul plan for I-35, which would widen the overpass of the motorway and create new green areas in the process. (KVUE.com)
