Children’s clothing, a $ 16 billion Market worldwide, suffers from massive underutilization. On average, parents give more than $ 700 on children’s clothing every year just to see it grow out of them within months, resulting in 63 million pounds of clothing being thrown into landfills every day.

The road trip will highlight American businesses and citizens who are committed to delivering sustainable circular economies to consumers, especially those that maximize profits while protecting the environment.

“We recognize that we have the unique ability to solve multiple problems with a single solution,” said Borobabi Co-Founder and CEO Carolyn Butler. “The recent pandemic has left Americans looking for new ways to save and be more aware of their expenses and lifestyle. Our trip will raise awareness of the viable, intrepid efforts of so many dedicated American innovators on The Circular Frontier. “

CEO Butler, a chemical engineer and entrepreneur, was named a “Circular Economy Pioneer” in 2020 by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Borobabi was named in the most recent publication of Circular Economy for Dummies (Wiley Publication, 2021) this April.

“At Borobabi, we believe that every family should have access to ethically and sustainably produced clothing. Sustainability shouldn’t be a luxury. Our natural and organic clothing is used to their full potential by our family network and we work hard to take responsibility for the entire life cycle of our children’s clothing. We recycle and compost to avoid the damage caused by landfill, as our mission is to ensure the health of our planet for generations to come. “

The ten American cities scheduled on The Circular Frontier’s tour include:

● Raleigh / Durham, NC July 20-22, 2021
