Grab the summer by the horns with a mechanical bull riding tournament and more! Bull & Bowl is great for a date, meetup with friends, company outings for team building, and even a great activity for a bachelorette weekend!
Austinites are invited to drink, dine, play and, show their best rodeo skills at the West 6th hotspots Mechanical bull tournament for a chance to win something great prices fit for every rodeo champion.
The The tournament is public with four separate rounds – initial “tryouts”, a “qualification” round, semi-finals (with the 10 best qualifiers) and “finals” (with the three best semi-finalists). In addition to a trophy and bragging rights for each winner, the prizes include:
- First price: $ 500 gift card for Tecovas
- Second prize: Bowling party for up to 10 guests. (Value of $ 300, includes two lanes for two hours, two drinks cards per guest, and a family-style dinner)
- Third Prize: Bull & Bowl Dinner for Two ($ 100 Value)
In addition to the tournament, the Grand Opening Party from 10 p.m. will feature a live set by DJ Eric Generic, who will also host the tournament, and free first-come, first-serve games (including karaoke, shuffleboard, duckpin bowling and billiards) from 19 clock.
What the fuck is duckpin?
Duckpin is a variation on traditional 10-pin bowling that has been around since the 1900s. A smaller ball and shorter lanes make the sport more difficult than traditional bowling, but you get 3 tries to get a hit.
