Business Beat: Superior Outfitters in Longview to move | Business Beat

Superior Outfitters’ business growth prompts a move to a larger building in Longview next month.
The full-service gun and outdoor store opened in Tyler about six years ago before it opened in Longview two years ago. It is currently located on Fourth Street.
“We just outgrew our current location,” said David Cravey, a Longview resident who co-owns the business with Austin Rohr.
The new building, 1310 W. Loop 281, where ABC Auto Parts was previously located, is currently under renovation. A grand opening is planned for October 29th and 30th.
Cravey said the new location will offer a larger showroom that will allow the store to expand its products.
The opening times are from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Office relocation
Special Health Resources has moved its administrative offices from Seventh Street to a new location on 2020 Bill Owens Parkway in Longview.
The organization celebrated the move on Friday with a tape cut of the Longview Chamber of Commerce and a tour of the new office. Marketing and communications manager Jennifer George said the company’s growth drove the move.
Administrative offices were previously in the same building as the organization’s Woman & Child Health Center, which houses obstetrics / gynecology, basic women’s care, and pediatrics.
“But we’ve grown. We’ve been with Longview for 30 years and we’ve grown steadily, ”said George. The health center needs more examination rooms for patients, and the administration also needs more space.
After moving the administrative offices, Special Health Resources is renovating half of the women’s and children’s health center that housed the administrative offices.
“One of the first things we did was set up a waiting room for pregnant mothers,” said George. People visiting the clinic for hospital visits wait outside in their cars, but a separate waiting room for pregnant mothers gives them extra protection.
“Our mission is to make health care accessible, and we believe that this means making health care accessible to all,” said George.
Special Health Resources accepts Medicare, Medicaid and offers a sliding scale of fees for uninsured people based on the size of their household income and income. Spanish-speaking providers are also available, and Special Health Resources offers free outpatient drug abuse treatment, behavioral and dental services to adolescents and adults.
New CEFCO location
Temple-based CEFCO Convenience Stores has opened a new location in Kilgore at 1009 N. Kilgore St.
An affiliated location of Huddle House, a national chain of restaurants that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, is expected to open later this month.
The 24-hour store offers hot and cold items, including made-to-order burritos, tacos and bowls from CEFCO Kitchen, as well as hand-baked roast chicken, pizza, breakfast sandwiches and other food options from CEFCO Kitchen.
The petrol station has seven petrol stations with ethanol-free fuel and diesel available.
Wellness anniversary
Domanique Ingram celebrated the first anniversary of her Rejuvenating Massage and Beauty Spa earlier this month with a band break at the Longview Chamber of Commerce.
The spa at 501 N. 63 Lane, Suite C-1, offers massages, including deep tissue and Ashiatsu; Liposuction; Body cavitation (a fat cell treatment); and ear candles. The opening times are by appointment under the telephone number (903) 746-6019.
Changes to the family dollar
The Family Dollar Store at 308 W. Main, Hallsville, celebrated its grand reopening Thursday. The renovated 8,000-square-foot store has a wider range of goods, including more frozen and chilled items, and $ 1 items.
