Kijana Caldwell added to the University of Findlay’s list of deans for spring 2021

Young Caldwell, of Oswego, 60543, was added to the University of Findlay’s list of deans for spring 2021. To achieve this achievement, a student must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Oswego student in Nebraska. called on the dean’s list

Grace Pagone of Oswego was added to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Deans’ List for the spring semester of the 2020/21 academic year.

Pagone, a junior journalism major, was inducted into the Dean’s List of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

More than 6,800 students in Nebraska were added to the Deans’ List for the spring semester.

Qualification for the Deans’ List varies between the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Below are the minimum requirements for each company and the name of the respective dean or director. All qualifying grade averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students can be on the dean’s list for more than one university.

  • School of Architecture, 3.75; Dean Katherine S. Ankerson.
  • College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Dean Mark E. Button.

  • Engineering college, 3.5; Dean Lance C. Perez.
  • College of Journalism and Mass Communication, 3.7; Dean Shari Veil.
  • Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, 3.7; Dean Charles O’Connor.
  • Explore Center for non-registered students, engineering, health and law students, 3.6; Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Undergraduate Education Amy Goodburn.

Molly Dobberstein offered APSU grant, Provost Out-of-State grant

Austin Peay State University congratulates Molly Dobberstein of Oswego, IL, on the offer of the scholarship and the Provost Out-of-State scholarship for high-performing first-year students for the fall semester 2021.

The scholarships are aimed at first-year students with a GPA of 3.5 – 3.69.
Their hard work and dedication to academic excellence have paid off and the APSU is delighted that they chose to be “Be A Gov” for their college education.

Foreign students who meet the criteria of a 3.5 GPA qualify for a Provost Out-of-State Scholarship.

Anyone interested in getting a college degree without being overwhelmed by student debt needs a new look at Austin Peay State University. The university, recently named one of the South’s Top 25 Regional Public Schools by US News and World Report, prides itself on the fact that 41% of its students graduate with no debt.

Abigail Walker named on Dean’s List at Manchester University

At the end of each semester, the Dean’s Office publishes the list of the Dean’s Office.

Abigail Walker of Oswego (60543) was added to Manchester University’s Dean’s List in spring 2021.

Walker was one of 338 students to be inducted onto Dean’s List in the spring of 2021. Walker is studying sports management and business administration.

Students with a semester grade average of 3.5 or higher who have completed at least 12 semester hours with no more than three hours passed / failed grade are included in the Dean’s List. Students with more than one hour of Incomplete (I) or Not Recorded (NR) grades at the end of the semester cannot be included in the Dean’s List.
