AUSTIN, Texas, September 27, 2021 – (BUSINESS WIRE) – DecisionEdge, the leading cloud-based and on-premise provider of enterprise earned value management (EVM) software, and Encore Analytics, LLC, the leading provider of Analysis tools for programs that use earned value management techniques to plan and control projects have been awarded contracts to replace the current Pratt & Whitney (PW) earned value management tool suite. PW is a global leader in the development, manufacture and maintenance of aircraft, helicopter and auxiliary engines.
The undisclosed deal will replace PW’s existing software with WebEVM from DecisionEdge and Empower from Encore Analytics. The Earned Value Transformation initiative was a highly competitive process that included a full proposal process where PW thoroughly analyzed the capabilities of each software tool, reviewed tool references from current users, and required live demos with active PW data.
As part of the contracts, DecisionEdge and Encore Analytics PW provide a compliant earned value management solution that delivers precise data and values through a seamlessly integrated toolset for portfolio, program and project management.
“We are pleased to be selected as the EVM software replacement for PW. Our extensive enterprise EVM experience combined with our strong software capabilities will lower risk and lower overall costs,” said Mark Tillema, CEO and Co-Founder of DecisionEdge , and the developer of WebEVM.
WebEVM has a tight integration with Oracle P6, Microsoft Project and Empower. The enterprise speed of WebEVM, superior web-based usability, and intuitive error checking enable organizations to work with fewer resources, so organizations can focus on data analysis rather than focus on loading and verifying data.
“Encore Analytics is pleased to have won this extremely competitive contract for the analytics portion of the PW solution. Recently, Empower has once again proven itself to be the market leader in analytics by systemically replacing the previous de facto standard analysis tool at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and now PW. These were two of our main competitor’s largest implementations, “said Gary Troop, president, Encore Analytics, LLC.
