Continuing our coverage of the public fall program of architecture schools across the country, the University of Texas Austin is announcing its lecture and series for fall 2021.

Archinect’s ongoing Get Lectured series features each school’s lecture series and their graphic design with eye-catching lecture posters.

The lecture program will kick off on September 15 with a presentation by the Dutch architect Herman Hertzberger. Alberto Viega from Barozzi Veiga will give his talk on September 27th on “The Work of Barozzi Viego” and Coren Sharples from ShoP Architects will give a talk on “Material Practice” on September 27th. The month of October welcomes lectures by the respected architecture critic Michael Kimmelman on October 4, a lecture on “Site, Matter, Gesture” by Anne Holtrop on October 11, and a lecture on work in basic resistance in architecture by Louis Schulz from Assemble on October 20 October. The month of October closes with a presentation by Chris Precht from Studio Precht.

November welcomes a presentation on Lucy McRae’s future survival. On November 5th, the school will host the CAAD Meadows Fellowship Symposium. Curated by Aleksandra Jaeschke, the 2019-2021 Meadows Foundation Centennial Fellow, the online conference welcomes an exciting line-up of guests such as Mae-ling Lokko, Ron Finley and Eduardo “Roth” Neira, to name a few. The autumn program will conclude with a presentation by Teresa Gali-Izard from Arquitectura Agronomia on November 8th.
