Luxury travel club jets into DFW with getaways via private plane

If you’ve been feeling like a restless trapped lately (thank you pandemic) and craving a travel experience in the lap of luxury, it may be time to join the club.

Manifest, a Denver-based lifestyle and travel club founded in 2020 by former Frontier Airlines CEO, is bringing three new club chapters to Texas: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Houston.

The company offers “bespoke getaways” – via private air service – to a variety of US destinations and manages all the logistical components of every experience offered, including adventure, wine / culinary, golf, cultural and romantic themed excursions.

Skiing in Telluride, sunbathing at Destin Beach, yoga at Aspen’s Snowmass, rocking out on a Nashville music tour, and attending a shooting school in Mississippi can be great adventures, but they come with a great price.

Here’s how it works: Manifest chapters start with a limited number of memberships, and members pay an annual subscription of $ 2,500, which gives them access to the club’s exclusive travel experiences, available year-round as three, four, six – and seven-day trips. Membership costs for each experience vary based on destination, activities, and length of stay.

The impetus for Manifest – which also has chapters in Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Phoenix, and plans to open chapters in 50 to 60 U.S. markets – came amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as closings and stays at home forced adventure addicts to rethink their travel habits. It’s an idea that the founder of Manifest believes will resonate with travelers in Texas.

“Traveler interest in the Texas market is growing, and we believe it only makes sense for Manifest to expand into the Lone Star State,” said Jeff Potter, Founder and CEO of Manifest. “During COVID-19, Texans, like many of us, continued to seek moments of excitement and discovery, but in places much closer to home. What we offer – small group travel, US destinations, private plane travel – continues to meet the needs of travelers. “

But it’s the actual experiences that Manifest says are the real draw, with the company citing a semi-new Skift Research report, the US Affluent Traveler Survey, which found that 67 percent of wealthy travelers prefer spending money on activities spend than with a hotel upgrade.

And with a survey of 14,000 travelers in 2020 that found domestic travel is booming amid mounting international travel restrictions, Manifest could get to the point.

By entering the Lone Star State, Manifest gives Texans who join the club by December 31st an additional incentive: the first six months are free.
