Bitty & Beaus coffee

TVA Development has received $ 350,000 approval to build a Bitty & Beau’s coffee shop on Mary Avenue in downtown. The company was founded in 2016 by a married couple who wanted to honor their two children with Down syndrome.

Bitty & Beau’s is hiring people with intellectual or developmental disabilities to fill its businesses. Her website says she “created a way for people with disabilities to be more valued, accepted and included in every community.”

In addition to serving coffee and biscuits, Bitty & Beau’s offers a line of hoodies, mugs, visors, shirts, coffee blends and aprons.
