3. Optical Prime, a mobile eye clinic offering eye tests to uninsured patients in central Texas, launched on June 5th. The clinic is a project of the non-profit organization Half Helen, North Austin Vision Care, which provides free services to low-income children with visual impairments. Optical Prime includes two eye exam stations in a tiny house on wheels, sponsored by the Austin Community Foundation, Kendra Scott, the Moody Foundation, and other partners.
