The power supply in some parts of Bengaluru will be affected on Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. due to the planned maintenance work on Bannerghatta Road, said Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM). The areas where power will be affected are Gollahalli, Jalli Machine, Kalkere, Laxmipura, Sakalavara, Hullahalli, Chinnappana Palya, CK Palya, PSPB School, Tulip Gate and Hullukasavanahalli Village.
Electricity will also be affected on August 7th and 8th between 9am and 5pm due to work in Dommasandra, the power authority said.
The areas in which the power supply is interrupted are Dommasandra, Katriguppe, TC Halli, Neriga, Janthagondanahalli, Nekkundi, Halasahalli, Ramanayakanahalli, Kommasandra, Thippasandra, Gonigattapura, Chikkanahalli, Dasarahalli, Kuguru, Madanahalli, Madanahalli, Kahuguru, Road , Madanahalli Main Road to, Kuguru, Madanahalli, Chowdadenahalli Circle to Sompura, Trinity, Kristal Confident, Kuthaganahalli, Doddathimmasandra, Kugur, Madappanahalli, Banahalli, Adithya Homes and Clear Places.
The city experienced a power outage between 10am and 5pm from July 26th to July 31st due to the installation of Bank-1 and Bank-2’s new MEI switchgear at the 66 / 11kv Austin Town Sub-Station.
The affected areas were Victoria Layout, Palm Grove Road, Agaram, Viveknagar, Sonnenahalli, Vannarpet.
