DENVER (AP) – Colorado Rockies left-handed Austin Gomber left his start against the Milwaukee Brewers after throwing two innings on Saturday night.

Gomber was replaced on the hill by Jhoulys Chacin. There was no immediate news from the Rockies of the reason for his departure.

Gomber allowed two runs and four hits with a strikeout before leaving. Both runs were scored in the first inning, putting an end to his streak of 23 1/3 innings without allowing a deserved run at Coors Field. Most recently, he allowed a well-deserved run at home in the second inning of his start on April 21 against Houston.
