Southwest Airlines adds Amarillo to Austin flight Rick Husband Airport

Southwest Airlines is expanding daily Austin flights at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport

Amarillo travelers will soon have additional options that include the state capital as Southwest Airlines, in partnership with Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport, has announced a new daily non-stop service to Austin, according to a press release.

The new expanded service to Austin begins on March 10, 2022 to Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

Sundays through Mondays, the flight from Austin leaves Amarillo at 6:10 a.m. and lands in Austin at 7:30 a.m. The return flight departs Austin at 7:55 PM and lands in Amarillo at 9:20 PM

On Saturdays, the flight departs Amarillo at 11:05 a.m. and lands in Austin at 12:23 p.m. The return flight departs Austin at 12:25 PM and lands in Amarillo at 1:50 PM

In addition to the new Austin nonstop service, Southwest Airlines is adding a fourth daily nonstop flight from Amarillo to Dallas Love Field starting March 10, 2022 – pandemic levels.

Southwest Airlines continues to be an invaluable partner in our Taking Flight – Amarillo initiative. We appreciate your continued commitment to maintaining and returning flights to and from Amarillo with the new Austin service back to pre-pandemic levels and now beyond. ”

Premier Vision welcomes Dr. Lauren Denton

According to Dr. John Todd Cornett, Managing Partner of Premier Vision, recently welcomed Premier Vision to Dr. Lauren Denton on his team of opticians and staff. Denton received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Baylor University. She received her PhD in Optometry from the University of Houston. After spending most of her formative years in other parts of Texas, she and husband TJ Denton look forward to establishing roots in the Texas Panhandle.
