Starting March 10, 2022, Southwest Airlines plans to offer more flights from Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas. Two non-stops between Austin and Harlingen offer our customers the option of a return trip on the same day.
The new flights will operate every day except Saturdays. The flight times are:
Austin to Harlingen Harlingen to Austin
9:15 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. 10:55 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. – 5:05 p.m., 5:40 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Southwest Airlines will also a Daily non-stop between Dallas / Love and Harlingen. The flight times are:

9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. 11:50 a.m. – 1:20 p.m.

According to CIRIUM, a passenger database service, Southwest Airlines’ monthly number of outbound seats for March 2022 shows 26,156 seats versus 11,901 seats for March 2021, or a 120 percent increase in monthly seat capacity. “These new flights will give our RGV residents even more connectivity options as Southwest Airlines will operate over 13,000 combined monthly flights from Dallas, Houston and Austin from March 2022.
