Southwest Airlines has announced that it will begin daily non-stop flights from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) to Austin (AUS) starting next year.

From March 10, 2022, the airline will be offering daily flights to the Texan capital. It did after the airline announced it would offer seasonal flights to the live music hub starting November 23.

“The new Southwest to Austin service connects two cities that have a lot in common – state capitals with thriving economies, growing populations and large universities,” said Joseph Nardone, President and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “These new flights should be welcome news for both business and leisure travelers.”
