The Abali affordable housing complex marks launch off I-35

Abali, a new residential complex in Central Austin made up mostly of affordable housing, opened in the Delwood 2 neighborhood in mid-September.
Located on 1 acre property at 4611 I-35 N., Austin, The Abali comprises 51 affordable and five marketable units; affordable units are available for 30%, 50% and 60% of the local median family income (MFI). The current Austin MFI for a family of four is $ 98,900 at 100%, $ 68,880 at 60%, $ 49,460 at 50%, and $ 29,650 at 30%.
The development includes a range of efficient one-, two- and three-room apartments.
The facility by developer O-SDA Industries and consultant Saigebrook Development has a community fitness center, business center, clubhouse and children’s playroom and is decorated with several murals and a sculpture.
