Austin, Texas – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Zenoss Inc., a leader in full-stack AI-powered surveillance, announced today that it has signed an expanded contract with the US Air Force Research Laboratory’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) program had received. The contract expands Zenoss’ existing presence within the company and complements the original multi-year software contract with multiple locations to provide software and services for the DCGS.

The Air Force Research Laboratory provides research, development, and management for numerous U.S. Air Force programs. The DCGS is considered to be one of the most advanced of these programs and uses a global communication architecture to connect multiple intelligence platforms and sensors. The DCGS, also known as the AN / GSQ-272 Sentinel weapon system, produces military messages for several military branches. It is the Air Force’s key system for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance information and is used for collection, processing, use, analysis and dissemination.

The Zenoss installations at each Air Force location will be implemented by federal partner Intelligent Waves based in Reston, Virginia. The Intelligent Waves team carries the necessary security credentials to support the deployment of Zenoss in multiple secure locations. The Zenoss platform provides complete visibility into cloud, virtual and physical environments for secure federal agencies and public sector organizations.

“The United States military needs the most innovative and secure solutions to support its missions,” said Greg Stock, Zenoss chairman and CEO. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the US Air Force to deliver the most advanced hybrid IT surveillance and AIOps for one of the most advanced weapon systems in the world.”

The Air Force Research Laboratory selected Zenoss as its software-defined IT operating platform to support its DCGS architecture and provide a common operating picture for the entire DCGS infrastructure across multiple security levels in more than 60 locations. The open architecture, expandability and scalability of the Zenoss platform enable the DCGS to adapt its technology stacks to the constantly changing requirements of the IT environment.
