Lutie’s garden restaurant

Lutie’s garden restaurant recently opened its doors in the revitalized landmark Commodore Perry Estate in Austin’s Hyde Park neighborhood. Perfect for a weekend away from Houston and boldly redesigned by interior designer Ken Fulk, the former country residence that is now part of the Auberge Resorts Collection is brimming with a mix of bespoke details, antiques and special furniture. The interior of the restaurant exudes an ambience of the jazz age, which is characterized by velvety vaulted bar stools, flower benches and antique lights. “In order to build on this absolutely unique environment, we have endeavored to create experiences that combine relaxed European elegance with genuine Texan hospitality,” says Fulk. “Despite the fact that some of the rooms are quite large, each experience offers a lightness and comfort that welcomes members and visitors to sit back and enjoy themselves.” Overlooking the scenic grounds, gardens and pool of the property, Lutie’s Garden Restaurant offers dishes made with local flavors and organic ingredients from the property’s own gardens and local suppliers. Expect an ever-changing menu from Bradley Nicholson and Susana Querejazu.
