AUSTIN, TX – Coronavirus cases continue to decline across the country as the number of those fully vaccinated continues to rise, meaning there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day.
July 4th is almost here, so it’s time to find out what July 4th fireworks and festivities are near you.
We all have fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Austin’s subway area so you can start planning now.
Where: Vic Mathias Shores at Lady Bird Lake Metro Park, 900 W Riverside Dr. and at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 W Riverside Dr.
When: 8 p.m. Sunday 4th July
The Austin Symphony HEB July 4th Concert & Fireworks features Austin Symphony patriotic music with grand finale fireworks over Lady Bird Lake.

Where to get a good view: Catch the action from the Long Center or the South First Street Bridge. Other ways to visit the bridge are the Congress Bridge and the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.
What: Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival
Where: 12700 Hill Country Blvd., in the Beehive
When: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 4th July
Head to the Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival on July 4th for live music, shopping, dining, and fireworks. Bring the whole family for backyard games and local live music, and end the evening with a spectacular fireworks show.

What: Bob Schneider Independence Day celebration
Where: Nutty Brown Amphitheater, 12225 Hwy 290 W in Austin
When: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 3rd July
Austin musician Bob Schneider will host the Bob Schneider Independence Day celebration on Saturday 3rd July at the Nutty Brown Amphitheater. The event will feature fireworks.
Tickets cost between $ 35 and $ 115. All minors will be charged an additional $ 5 at the door. The event is suitable for all age groups.

Where: Geraldine’s at Hotel Van Zandt, 605 David St. in Austin (4th floor)

Celebrate July 4th at Geraldine’s Austin on Sunday July 4th in downtown Austin. The rooftop bar on the 4th floor hosts live blues performances all weekend July 1-4, including performances by Jo James, Blake Whitmire, Vin Mott and Paul Val.
On Sunday the bar welcomes the blues musician Paul Val from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., then the fireworks over the lake from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. More information about the event can be found on Geraldine’s website.
4th of July festivities in Pflugerville
What: July 4th at Typhoon Texas
Where: Typhoon Texas, 18500 TX-130 Service Road.
When: 9:30 p.m. Sunday 4th July
The city of Pflugerville has partnered with Typhoon Texas to put on a fireworks display at the water park on July 4th.
The fireworks will start on July 4th at 9:30 pm in the field next to the water park at the intersection of State Highway 130 and Pflugerville Parkway.
The city’s fireworks at Typhoon Texas will also be broadcast live on the city of Pflugerville’s Facebook page.

What: Hutto’s 4th of July celebration
Where: Brushy Creek Amphitheater, 1001 CR 137 in Hutto
When: The celebration starts at 4.30 p.m. Sunday 4th July; The fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
The family-friendly event includes live music, vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, and fireworks. Musical acts include Austin-born Mia Garcia and the Peterson Brothers.
The fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Only see-through bags are allowed and participants are allowed to bring blankets and deck chairs. Participants must register for free entry. Free (entry), $ 5 (parking per vehicle).

4th of July festivities at Round Rock

Enjoy America’s favorite pastime by watching the Round Rock Express versus the Sugar Land Skeeters on July 4th.
The first 7,000 fans to come to the game will receive a mini American flag and the game will end with a grand fireworks display to patriotic music. More patriotic features will be announced shortly before game day. Tickets cost $ 20 to $ 65.

What: Round Rocks annual 4th of July celebration
Where: in downtown Round Rock for the parade; Celebration in Old Settlers Park at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd.
When: The parade begins at 8:30 am Saturday July 3rd; The Frontier Days celebrations begin on Saturday, July 3, at 12 noon-11: 30 pm
Round Rock’s annual all-day July 4th celebration begins with a 1.5 mile (1.5 mile) parade on Mays Street between Mays Crossing and Hwy. 79.
After the parade, head to Old Settlers Park for a patriotic Frontier Days party with rides, entertainment, vendors, and a fireworks show. The events are free of charge.

Where: Barking Armadillo Brewing, 507 River Bend Dr. in Georgetown
When: 6 p.m. Saturday 3rd July
Barking Armadillo Brewing and Georgetown Pie Co. are hosting a July 4th Cake Eating Contest and Family-Friendly Celebration in Georgetown on Saturday, July 3rd.
A registration fee of US $ 50 is charged for the competition, which includes a 9-inch cake of your choice (Key Lime or Banana Cream), a participant’s T-shirt, the first free beer and a beer glass for BA Independence Day.
Participants 21 and older will have to eat a whole 9-inch cake of their choice (key lime or banana cream) just by mouth, officials said.
Awards include: 1st Place – July 4th Barking Armadillo Trucker Hat, $ 25 Beer Gift Card, $ 25 Cake Gift Certificate, 1st Place Medal, and Georgetown Pie Co. July 4th festivities at Cedar Park
What: July 4th Celebrations at City of Cedar Park
Where: Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd.
When: Food trucks from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday, July 4th; 9.15 p.m. fireworks
Cedar Park town celebrates Independence Day with fireworks and a screening of “Sandlot” in the park of Milburn Park in Cedar Park. The city’s annual parade won’t happen this year, officials said.
The city encourages the community to picnic between 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and enjoy music all evening.

Liberty Fest 2021 features live music, food, activities for kids and an incredible fireworks spectacle that shouldn’t be missed.
