Foodies and music lovers in San Antonio can now look forward to another festival.
The locally organized Dark Side of the Brew & Skew Music Festival will debut on Saturday, October 23rd at the Sunken Garden Theater.
The first musical line-up includes former Journey singer Steve Augeri, Austin-based reggae outfit Micah Shalom, Los Angeles-based rock guitarist Derek Day, and tribute act Texas Pink Floyd, which includes three musicians who started with the original Pink Floyd were on tour.
San Antonio restaurants such as Humo, Sangria on the Burg, Broadway 5050, The Hayden, The Dooryard, and Landrace at the Thompson Hotel offer pop-up food.
While the restaurant bargains are included in the ticket price, participants have to pay for liquid refreshments such as beer and wine. Noshing visitors can also vote on which sample will be the festival’s most popular skewer.
People who just want to enjoy the music can arrive at 5:30 p.m. for the evening entertainment.
Islla St. Brewing in San Antonio will be offering a limited edition Dark Side of The Brew beer for the event. Brew details to follow.
$ 35-225, Saturday, October 23, 2:00 p.m., Sunken Garden Theater, 3875 N. St. Mary’s St., Eventbrite.
