AIA Names Winners of 2021 Small Project Awards

Washington, DC, June 28, 2021 – The American Institute of Architects (AIA) recognized exceptional designs with its 2021 Small Project Awards.
The AIA Small Project Awards program, which was launched by the Small Project Design (SPD) Knowledge Community, honors small project practitioners for the high quality of their work for the 18th year. The program also aims to raise awareness of the value and design excellence that architects, regardless of size and scope, can bring to projects. The winners are divided into three groups:
Category 1 – Small project construction, an architectural object, an environmental work of art, or an architectural design element that costs up to $ 150,000 to build.
Category 2 small project construction that could cost up to $ 1,500,000 under construction.
Category 3 small project construction, an architectural object, an environmental work of art or an architectural design with an area of less than 5,000 square meters.
