Big Travel 7 ranked the burger # 14 on its list of “50 Best Burgers in the United States”.
AUSTIN, Texas – A global travel website says an Austin restaurant burger is not only the best in Texas, but also one of the best in the United States
Big 7 Travel named Odd Ducks Burger # 14 on its annual list of the “50 Best Burgers in the United States”. The global travel website is taking suggestions from its audience and editorial team to create the list.
At Odd Duck, there is only one burger on the menu, a Wagyu burger with green chili, pork jam, tostada, beet relish and beer cheese. The respondents didn’t care, however, as the list was full of “new and creative burgers”.
“The craftsmanship with which the burgers are prepared at Odd Duck speaks for itself, with a focus on local ingredients and the right, homemade manner,” wrote Big 7 Travel.
The restaurant began as a trailer and is “shaped by the approach of our artisans to the kitchen, the culture of our city, the creativity of our employees and the products of our great farmers”, it says on its website.
Additional menu items include a mushroom chorizo quesadilla, fried whole quail with cream corn, and a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine.
Big 7 Travel also made a list of the 25 best burgers in Texas in 2020. Odd Duck was ranked 11th on that list, and another Austin restaurant, Contigo, made the list for its burger picks.
