AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police are investigating two robberies in southern Austin on Tuesday.

The raids took place in Thicket Food Park, which is near the intersection of South First Street and William Cannon Drive, police said. Surveillance video shows one of the suspects in the Revolution Vegan Kitchen just after 1 a.m.

Stage 5 comes to Austin-Travis County – but it will look different

The owner of this food truck said he was concerned about protecting his business in the future.

“It was very shocking to lose that feeling of security. It’s not much about what they take or what damage they have done … it’s that the feeling of security is just gone, ”said Francisco Segura, owner of Revolution Vegan Kitchen.

One of the owners said his coffers had been emptied but it is unclear how much money was stolen. A GoFundMe page was created to help the trucks recover financially.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact APD.
