AUSTIN, TEXAS – Michelle Wong has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Sprinkles Dessert Bakery. In the newly created position, Ms. Wong will lead all consumer and product marketing programs while Sprinkles continues to develop innovative product offerings. She will join the company’s senior leadership team reporting to Dan Mesches, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Wong was most recently interim vice president of marketing and sales at Sprinkles. Before Sprinkles, she was a Principal at M. Wong Consulting and previously 11 years at the creative advertising agency Dailey, where she was President and Managing Partner for two years. She also worked as Group Account Director and Vice President Account Supervisor at Dailey. Previously, she was Account Supervisor at M&C Saatchi, Account Executive at Draftfcb and Account Executive at Leo Burnett.

Mrs Wong holds a Grand Diplôme des Le Cordon Bleu in London.

Sprinkles opened its first bakery in Beverly Hills in 2005 and has now grown to over 40 bakeries and cupcake ATMs from coast to coast. In 2021, Sprinkles launched its first line of chocolate, inspired by the best-selling flavors of the iconic cupcakes.
