Photo location: In the gym of the Olentangy Berlin. When the school opened in 2018 I was relocated here and that gave me the opportunity to build a culture and environment from the ground up.
Home Front: My parents are Gloria Fleming, MD, and Todd Corley, and I have a 20 year old sister, Olivia.
Favorite subject: I’ve always been a practical, methodical person, so I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of math.
Least popular topic: AP physics was my most challenging class. Although I enjoyed the course, the material was very complicated.
Valuable possessions: My Lego architecture collection. I’ve really enjoyed building these sets over the years. I started when I was around 7 years old and have now completed 17 sets.
Favorite book: “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley. I appreciate the underlying message of the book on how discrimination affects individuals.
Favourite movie: “The Incredibles.” When I was a kid I loved how futuristic it was and all the cool skills the characters had.
Favorite TV show: “Breaking Bad”
Favorite musician: The rapper A Boogie wit da hoodie. I like his style of music. My favorite album of his is the deluxe version of “Artist 2.0”, which is also the last one he released. I hope he releases another one soon!
Favorite animal: Penguins always seem calm, cool and collected.
Indispensable app: For me, Instagram is the best way to keep in touch with my friends and stay up to date on what’s happening in the country and around the world.
Favorite home cooking: My mom’s famous Italian sliders. She puts on her special sauce and bakes it with her special spices, all of which are top secret.
My cooking specialty: Scrambled eggs. I usually make three at a time and add grated hot cheddar cheese along with pepper while they cook in the pan.
Favorite restaurant: Cook Out, a chain of fast food restaurants typically located in the southeastern United States. My favorite meal there is a cheeseburger, hush puppies, onion rings, and a milkshake. I try to get a different shake every time because they have so many flavors! Right now, I think I’ve had about 15 different ones.
Feelings of Guilt: Binge-watching Netflix shows and movies with popcorn and candy.
Proud sporting moments: Winning the District I Football Championship and our first tournament win after the season in basketball, both in my senior year.
Sports I would like to try: Surfing. I enjoy the beach and the sea a lot.
Favorite athlete: Donovan Mitchell from Utah Jazz. I enjoy watching his game and I respect the way he uses his platform to address social justice issues.
Inspiration: My mother is the most hardworking, resilient, and loving person I know. Greetings also to my father and my big sister: I love you too!
Dream job: An economist or NBA data analyst.
I would sell this in my store: Milkshakes have been my lifelong favorite dessert / treat.
Place where I want to travel: Hawaii, because of the beach, but also because I grew up with “Hawaii Five-0”. I’ve seen every episode of all 10 seasons and loved the scenery.
The least popular housework: Clearing the table after dinner. After a satisfying meal, I usually want to sit back and relax.
True / False: I sing loudly when people are around: Haha true.
Something I can’t get right no matter how hard I try: Do not cook anything other than scrambled eggs and ramen noodles.
Farewell words: “If a lot is given, a lot is asked for.” – Luke 12:48
