CLARKSVILLE, TN – One of the big events happening at the start of a new school year at Austin Peay State University is the APEX weekend, which usually takes place the weekend before the fall classes start and the week after the freshmen move into campus .

And this year, in addition to the usual events, the organizers are adding a new event open to the community – a car show and get-together.

The auto show and the “Govs Garage” meeting will take place on Saturday, August 21, from 1pm to 1pm in the parking lot opposite the Dunn Center and behind the Foy Recreation & Fitness Center, and everyone in the community will have the chance to enjoy their hot rides show.

Registration for the event is free and is open to all vehicles of all years, brands and models. The show is also free for anyone to see the cars. Check-in and setup is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Here you can sign up. Registration closes on Thursday, August 19th.
