Which university are you going to attend next year? What are you hoping for after college?
I will go to the University of Texas at Austin and study design. After college, I hope to find a job that will give me a creative outlet. Maybe I’ll end up in product design, graphic design, in a company, freelance, etc. Although I’m still unsure, I’m looking forward to it.

Which campuses in Round Rock ISD did you visit?
Blackland Prairie Elementary School, Ridgeview Middle School, and Cedar Ridge High School.

What is your favorite memory of your time at Round Rock ISD?
I honestly can’t remember a specific memory, but all of the fun moments in my graphic design class in my junior year were honestly the best of times. We paint on each other with pens and sharpies, shave with coffee cups, carve pumpkins, play geometry dash. I loved the course in general, but all of these little, absurd experiences made it a lot better.

Who was your most influential teacher in Round Rock ISD?
Ms. Arellano was my most influential teacher. I wasn’t expecting to stay in her class or consider graphic design more than a hobby, but I changed my mind very quickly. She takes her students seriously and works hard to provide us with business partners and opportunities to move forward while letting us experience fun projects and different aspects of design. I don’t think I would be where I am now if I hadn’t had her in the past three years.
