Gopuff Now Offers Freshly Made Food

Gopuff uses both its own recipes and ingredients from local partners to offer a mix of healthy and delicious foods, including hot, freshly made pizza, chicken tenders, salads, freshly brewed coffee and matcha, breakfast sandwiches and more for breakfast, lunch and dinner and late at night, the company said.

Gopuff Kitchen has already delivered hundreds of thousands of orders to more than 20 micro-fulfillment centers as part of its first pilot programincluding in Austin, Texas; Mesa, Arizona .; Miami; Nashville, Tennessee; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Antonio; Scottsdale, Arizona .; Tampa, Florida; and Tempe, Aris.with plans to launch more kitchens across the country by the end of this year.

By eliminating the need for customers to place multiple orders from different services, Gopuff Kitchen reduces the risk of delivery delays and cold meals due to multiple stops, the company said.

Late last year, Gopuff acquired Bandit, the first app-only coffee shop in the United States, launching the company’s fresh produce offering and launching Gopuff Kitchen. Max Crowley and James Gallagher founded Bandit in 2019. Crowley, co-founder of Bandit, now leads the business expansion of Gopuff, including the vertical Gopuff Kitchen.

Gopuff has also made a big push in local products, bringing to market more than 1,100 of more than 300 partners, including local supplier partners La Colombe, Au Fournil and Dizengoff in Philadelphia, Cartel Coffee in Phoenix and Bandit in Austin. Some of these items can also be seen in their kitchens.

Gopuff Kitchen consists of a proprietary fully electric liquor and ensures “clean cooking”, ie no open flames, smells, propane gas or deep fryers and no burning during cooking or air conditioning. Gopuff’s innovative modular design also allows kitchens to customize menus and equipment to suit the preferences of the communities it serves.

Gopuff is open 24/7 in many markets and late into the night in other locations.
