New Mexican Seafood Restaurant Seareinas Opens in North Austin
[ad_1]
The up-and-coming restaurant group Gabriela’s Group opens its newest restaurant Seareinas – a fish and sushi restaurant. Seareinas is open July 14th on 6607 North Interstate Highway 35 in North Austin near the St. John’s neighborhood.
Seareinas serves fish that is flown in daily from both the Gulf of California and the Pacific Ocean, which is used in dishes and sushi. The restaurant is inspired by Sinaloa, a state in northern Mexico known for fresh seafood such as aguachile, sushi and rich products.
For drinking, there’s a full bar stocked with drinks like margaritas, micheladas, Mexican beers, and more. Seareinas will also feature live music, possibly with local Latino musicians serenading guests at their tables.
Seareinas comes from Gabriela’s group, from the siblings Arturo and Gabriela Bucio. The group is known for creating trendy restaurants with a Latin American flair, like the super pink Taquero Mucho in West Sixth. Likewise, the restaurant will have lush tropical decor (courtesy of two local design firms, Unhinged Studio and BRWN COLLECTIVE), bespoke neon signs, and an outdoor sports field that guests can use while waiting for a table.
Gabriela’s Group also includes Taquero Mucho, Gabriela’s Downtown, Gabriela’s South Austin, Café Revival Coffee, and Mala Vida and Mala Santa nightclubs.
