The Lake Austin reservation, a 109,843-square-foot senior community under construction for RM2,222 6401, is slated to open in January 2022, according to Jeremy Lander, executive director of The Reserve at Lake Austin.
“We recently opened the second entrance to the community on City Park Road,” said Lander. “The construction work is proceeding according to plan for the hoped-for opening date in January 2022.”
A community welcome center offering independent and assisted living services will open at the San Clemente Mall at 3600 N. Capital of Texas Hwy in August. opened, he said.
“This will be an opportunity for potential residents and anyone interested to see the models and learn more about the community,” Lander said.
The Lake Austin reservation, managed by Solera Senior Living, will contain 120 units, ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments. The community will have three main buildings, two of which will be four-story. There are many amenities available to residents, including fine dining and a lounge with views of nearby Cat Mountain, a salon, pool, and secure outdoor garden.
The Memorial Garden is intended as a safe place for people being treated for dementia and receiving memory maintenance, Lander said.
For safety and optimal care, residents also wear warning devices with GPS functionality so that their movements can be tracked by staff while they are moving, Lander said.
