Architecture insiders have been speculating about Trubey’s next move since he left in June HKSwhere he worked for 29 years serving as the company’s global director of venues and executive vice president.

“As you can imagine, I’ve had a lot of inquiries since the HKS left,” said Trubey. “I am absolutely sure that my best work is ahead of me. There was an overarching goal. I want to work with an established and proven company that has a team of professionals based on a number of core values. These ideals include respect, trust and the obligation to generate “original thoughts” in everything we create, ”emphasized Trubey.
Trubey said he wasn’t considering starting a company with his name on the door.
“People like me thrive when they are part of a dynamic, energetic team with a success story. In short, this is Overland Partners, ”he said.
