Today is a great day for Austinites! You know why? It is election day. Many residents will go to the polls to vote on proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, as well as to vote for or against two proposals in the city, including the controversial Prop A.
We’re here to keep you updated on the latest election coverage today, but first – here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening in the city today.

Your Election Day Guide
The voting centers open at 7 a.m. today and close at 7 p.m. Here are a few things you should know before you go to vote to cast your vote.
