Several new stores have opened or announced plans to be in the area in the past few months. From coffee shops to convenience stores to car washes, the following list describes some of these businesses.

Hutto liqueur, located at 525 Chris Kelley Blvd # 200, will cut the ribbon on July 7th from 11am to 12pm. The store, which sells a variety of liquors and mixers, opened in late March. Lawn and garden wholesale company based in Austin Exaco Trading Co. Groundbreaking ceremony for the future Pflugerville site on the corner of Impact Way and Helios Way on May 27th. The 42,000-square-foot office, exhibition, and distribution center will be an upgrade of the current 28,000-square-foot center at 10203 B Metropolitan Drive, Austin. The 7,000-square-foot showroom will have about a dozen models for people to see before they buy. The site should be completed by the end of 2021. www.exaco.com
A new car wash called Let it shine is coming to Pflugerville after purchasing 1.24-acre property on the corner of Wells Branch Parkway and Heatherwilde Boulevard, according to a June press release from Evergreen Commercial Real Estate that helped broker the purchase. The planned opening date is November 2022, the website is under construction.
Information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicates the construction of a new one QuikTrip At 3101 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville, construction is scheduled to begin in mid-July. The TDLR document states that the new build will cost $ 525,000 and be 4,993 square feet in size. QuikTrip is a national convenience store chain that opened in 1958 and is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to its website. Site work is in progress for a Black Rock coffee bar on the corner of Gattis School Road and FM 685 in Hutto. The Black Rock Coffee Bar serves hot and cold coffee, smoothies, and decaf drinks. This will be the brand’s sixth Texas location, with existing stores in Austin and Round Rock. ON Chipotle Mexican Grill is expected to be in the Hanson’s Corner extension at 326 Ed Schmidt Blvd. in Hutt. The Hanson’s Corner extension is being built as a shell with rental space for companies. Chipotle Mexican Grill is expected to open in January 2022, according to Megan Frey, vice president of development and acquisitions for Endeavor Real Estate Group, the company that owns the property. According to Dave Burggraaf, Managing Director of Evergreen Commercial Real Estate, the two-lane drive-thru coffee shop is expected to open in September. The Dutch Bros.
