GAACC presents the Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 to Christine Ha, the first Asian-American candidate to win the American MasterChef at Ovation on December 4th.
AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, Nov. 9, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) is pleased to announce that Christine Ha, the inaugural Asian American nominee, has won the award for her Lifetime Achievement 2021, the 2021 winner is the American version of MasterChef. This prestigious award will be presented at Ovation on December 4th, 2021.
Each year, GAACC recognizes companies and organizations that have contributed to the economic success of the region and commends APA individuals and organizations that have achieved unusual success and / or work to make our community a better place. The highest individual award from GAAAC is the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Christine Ha holds a BA in Business Administration and Finance with MIS from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Fiction and Nonfiction from the Nationally Recognized Writing Program at the University of Houston. Despite not being a professionally trained cook, she quickly faced the on-screen challenges and was declared the winner.
Ovations will be held at the Austin Marriott Downtown and will feature entertainment with an open bar at the front desk, dinner and an after-party. This annual event is held to celebrate the heritage of Asia Pacific Americans (APA). The AAPI community is the fastest growing demographic segment both nationally and in central Texas.
