BACK: The Democratic Lieutenant Governor candidate hopes the second time is the stimulus

“Today I am announcing my candidacy because I believe Texas deserves a lieutenant governor who is dedicated to solving problems honestly. As a long-time accountant, energy expert and financial watchdog, I strive to provide solutions for the people of Texas – and not create more problems, ”wrote Collier in a press release announcing his candidacy. “The past few months have shown that our state is facing a crisis of competent leadership, and Texas needs a proven business leader, not a radio-shocker zealot, to lead this great state.”

Collier, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, has worked for Exxon and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

The Democratic primary election is scheduled for March 1, 2022 and a primary election is scheduled for May 24, 2022.
