Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario ranks 27th out of 37 Best Warm Winter Vacation Destinations
When you think of winter vacation destinations, do you think of cold weather, skiing and hot cocoa, or sun-kissed beaches, surfing and umbrella drinks?
If you’re looking for a warm weather destination, San Diego and San Francisco are high on the list.
San Diego is located on California’s Pacific Coast, known for its beaches, parks, and warm climate. Immense Balboa Park is home to the renowned San Diego Zoo as well as numerous art galleries, artist studios, museums and gardens. A deep harbor is home to a large active naval fleet, including the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier museum that is open to the public.
A popular tourist destination, San Francisco is known for its cool summers, fog, steep hills, an eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Alcatraz Federal Prison, Fisherman’s Wharf, and its Chinatown neighborhood.
