American Airlines and CVG Airport launched a new non-stop service to Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) on Tuesday.
The new flight will operate three times a day.
Balloons and signs adorned the ticket counter and gate areas to celebrate the first flight.
The direct connection to Boston is the eleventh American destination served by CVG.
It complements the airline’s existing year-round and seasonal non-stop service to Austin, TX (AUS), Charlotte, NC (CLT), Chicago, IL (ORD), Dallas, TX (DFW), Miami, FL (MIA), New York , NY (JFK and LGA), Philadelphia, PA (PHL), Phoenix, AZ (PHX), and Washington, DC (DCA).

“Boston is a top 10 CVG market, so this new service is very exciting for our community for both leisure and business travel,” said Candace McGraw, CVG’s chief executive officer.
“American Airlines has been a strong partner since it started service here 74 years ago, and we welcome the launch of this new service.”
