LOS ANGELES, September 07, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc., parent company of Fatburger, Johnny Rockets, Round Table Pizza, Great American Cookies, Marble Slab Creamery and nine other Restaurant Concepts, expands its presence in the Middle East with 136 stationary restaurant locations in five countries. Working with Kitopi, the master franchisee for this deal, six FAT Brands concepts will open over the next five years, including Fatburger, Johnny Rockets, Buffalo’s Cafe, Great American Cookies, Elevation Burger and Yalla Mediterranean.

The United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait are the arenas of FAT Brands’ expansion. With 136 brick-and-mortar stores opening over the next five years, FAT Brands concepts will be available within the next year through Kitopi’s existing presence of more than 70 managed cloud kitchens, also known as ghost kitchens across the region. The Middle East has proven fruitful for FAT Brands as their brands have continuously opened new stores in different countries for over a decade.
