Governor Greg Abbott today issued an executive order stating that no company in Texas can enforce the receipt of a COVID-19 vaccination from any person, including an employee or consumer, who has had such vaccination for any reason of personal conscience contradicts religious beliefs, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from COVID-19. Governor Abbott also sent a message to the Secretary General of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate, adding this topic as an item on the agenda of the third special session.
