Halloween 2021: Trunk Or Treat Events In Austin Metro

AUSTIN, TX – With Halloween around the corner, given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it can be difficult to find the best places to take the kids on a safe trick or treating adventure.

However, there are many events on the Austin Metro geared towards safe, social distancing events for Halloween 2021.

We’ve put together a list of trunk-or-treat events that are happening across town that will make you scream: Trick or Treat! Oops, we mean “Trunk-or-Treat!”

Trunk-or-treat in Austin Metro

Trunk Or Treat from Williamson County Precinct 4

Williamson County Precinct 4 will host a trunk-or-treat event on Friday, October 15 at Round Rock from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The free event begins in the Dell Diamond car park at 3600 E. Palm Valley Boulevard. There will be trick or treating followed by a demonstration of Disney’s “Coco”.

Drive-Thru Trunk Or Treat in Round Rock

The Round Rock Police and Fire Department are hosting a Trunk Or Treat drive-through event from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 23 at the Round Rock Public Safety Training Center, 2801 North Mays Street.

The drive-thru event begins on Eagles Nest Street, turns on Oakmont Drive and North Mays Streets before ending at the training center.

Officials said families can get candy while enjoying the decorated trunks. Further information about the event or how to reserve a stand can be found on the city’s events page.

Including a Trunk Or Treat event for children in Round Rock

Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 7th annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 23rd from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The free event, aimed at children with special needs, takes place (rain or shine) at Seton Williams Hospital on 201 Seton Parkway. Please visit the city’s events page for more information.

Trunk-or-Treat at Round Rock Shaolin Do

Round Rock Shaolin Do will host its second “Trunk-or-Treat” event for its members and their friends on Saturday, October 23rd.

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at location 2401 S AW Grimes Boulevard. The event features treats, activities, awards and prizes.

Trunk-or-Treat at Lakehills Free Will Baptist Church

The Lakehills Free Will Baptist Church is hosting a trunk-or-treat event on Saturday, October 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cedar Park.

The free event takes place at their location at 1580 Cypress Creek Road and features themed tribes from members of the Church. Each suitcase contains a game, candy and prizes. Face-painting, food, and drinks are also offered.

Trunk or Treat at Good News United Methodist Church

The Good News United Methodist Church is hosting a trunk-or-treating event in Leander on Sunday, October 24th, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The free event begins at the 1610 East New Hope Drive location and also features food and games.

Drive-Thru Trunk Or Treat at IDEA Pflugerville

IDEA Pflugerville Academy and College Prep are hosting a “Trunk or Treat” drive-thru event on Wednesday, October 27, 1901 E. Wells Branch Parkway, Pflugerville, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

This event is an opportunity for families and employees to participate and show off their festive mood in a safe and fun way. Wear your best costume, decorate your car and stop by to enjoy the school event.

Trunk Or Treat at the Kiddie Academy of Cedar Park West

Cedar Park West’s Kiddie Academy is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 29th at 1301 N Lakeline Blvd from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. in the cedar park.

The public event features trunk-or-treating, food and games.

Trunk Or Treat at the First Presbyterian Church of Austin

The First Presbyterian Church of Austin will host its annual Trunk or Treat event on October 31st from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm in its parking lot at 8001 Mesa Drive.

All trunk hosts will wear masks and hand out nut-free candy. Boy Scout Troop 1 will also offer free hot dogs. Officials said the free event will include handicrafts, as well as a costume contest and parade. Visit the Church website for more information.
