1st Texas restaurant chain LA crawfish opened its first Austin location at 500 E. Ben White Blvd., Austin this February. The restaurant’s menu includes po’boys and baskets of seafood, oysters, chicken wings, pho, and pasta and rice dishes. 512-520-5848. www.thelacrawfish.com
2. Impact Family Church, located at 2909 W. William Cannon Drive, Austin, this year celebrates its 25th anniversary in South Austin. The church was founded in January 1996 as the World Harvest Outreach Church by Pastors John and Alison Larkam. 3. Michael A. Lopez became the new Chief Nurse Officer. appointed St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, according to a press release from the hospital on March 22nd. Lopez joined St. David’s in 2013 and brings a total of 20 years of experience to the position. Most recently, he was a senior nurse at St. David’s Heart Hospital in Austin, according to a statement. St. David’s South Austin Medical Center is an acute care facility located at 901 W. Ben White Blvd., Austin. www.stdavids.com
4. Located in Oregon Dutch Bros coffee will break ground this fall at a new location at 9605 Menchaca Road, Austin. The menu of the drive-thru café offers cold brews, americanos, espresso specialties, teas, smoothies and pastries as well as the Blue Rebel energy drink.
