AUSTIN, Texas – New development details for a 55-story skyscraper on Rainey Street in Austin are known, including an official name. Urban Space Real Estate + Interiors announced Tuesday “The Modern Austin Residences,” the company’s first condominium project.
The building will consist of 345 condominiums, according to its website. It will also offer 20 affordable housing units, according to a report in the Austin Business Journal. Each unit will have one to four bedrooms.
The starting price for a standard one bedroom unit is $ 400,000.
The Modern will have many amenities, including a fitness center with on-demand classes, a yoga and Pilates studio, a swimming pool, a spa, a guest suite, and a storage room for bicycles and paddleboards.
Austin City Council approved the development in April under the name 9092 Rainey. The address of the Modern is 610 Davis St.
Urban Space plans to lay the foundation for the project and start selling in early 2022, according to its website. She hopes to see residents in 2024.
